The Full Day trainings are aimed at instructors and administrators who are new to Bb Vista or who have not worked in Bb Vista for a while. Lunch will be provided.

The Using the Teach Tab and More workshop is being offered to individuals familiar with Bb Vista who want to learn more about using Bb Vista from a teaching perspective (managing assignments, assessments, the Grade Book and much more). Come with questions; half the workshop is devoted to responding to participants' requests.

Discussion Topics in Bb Vista: There are three types of discussion topics: threaded, class blog and journal. What are the differences and why would you use something other than the traditional threaded discussions? This brown bag will explain the differences and provide examples.

Using a Learning Management System for Face-to-Face Courses: This one-hour information session introduces a number of ideas to save class time, conserve resources, and enhance your traditional face-to-face courses.

Recording and Editing: Studio (Windows) - Learn how to use Camtasia Studio to record your screen, edit your timeline, add elements to your video, enhance your audio, and more.
Prerequisite: Desktop and Presentation Recording: Relay

Recording and Editing: Studio (Mac) - Learn how to use Camtasia Studio to record your screen, edit your timeline, add elements to your video, enhance your audio, and more. Recommended: Bring your Intel-powered Mac laptop (MacBook, Pro, or Air).
Prerequisite: Desktop and Presentation Recording: Relay

Faculty and staff will receive a CD containing Snap 9 Professional to install on their laptops or on-campus desktop machines, as well as an account for Snap Online. Students will receive the Snap 9 Professional CD, but they must obtain authorization from a faculty member in order to be granted a Snap Online account.

The Snap sessions will demonstrate how the software is installed and used. Snap allows users to perform: questionnaire design, publication, data collection and analysis.

It consists of a core product, Snap Professional, and an online component called Snap Online.

Wimba Classroom is a synchronous, virtual classroom. Its features include multi-way audio and video, easy upload of PowerPoint presentations, application sharing, polling, and more — all designed to make the online classroom experience as robust as possible.
