Network Problem Checklist

If you are experiencing a problem with the network or your Internet connection, follow these instructions before reporting it:

  1. Determine whether you can browse the web and if other people can use the service you are trying to access. If you or others can connect to the Internet or use email then the network is probably not down.
  2. Check the System Status announcement for known, posted issues.
  3. Call the IRT Help Desk (215-895-2020).
  4. Lastly, call the CTI/Network Operation Center (215-895-6666) to report a problem. If calling after hours, our automated system allows you to make a report or alert the Network and Systems Operations staff of a critical service interruption impacting many users or campus buildings.
