Best Practices Administration Support
This conference is an opportunity to share best practices and creative approaches to enriching the learning and engaging the students in an eLearning 2.0 environment. Join colleagues from across the region to learn how to utilize existing and emerging technologies and develop engaging eLearning 2.0 strategies to augment face-to-face classes, teach hybrid Web-enhanced classes, or facilitate completely online, Web-delivered classes.
Keynote speaker:
Dr. Mark Milliron will be discussing
Technology Use in Teaching and Learning
with special emphasis on Retention of Online Learners.
Attendees can expect to learn about exciting and innovative ways that their colleagues are leveraging the use of technology in teaching and learning. They will hear about myriad practical and meaningful strategies in eLearning and technology use that they can take back to their colleagues and utilize at their own institutions.
Further, it will be exciting for folks in attendance to hear some of the fresh information about what effect all of this is having on online student retention (persistence), student outcomes, etc. from a broad-based array of perspectives. If these are particular areas of interest for you – please consider sending in a Proposal and certainly plan on joining regional colleagues at this year’s event.
Registration includes: welcome materials and information, access to the presentations and keynote speaker sessions, a continental breakfast, lunch, afternoon refreshments, and the door prize drawing at the conclusion of the event (winner needs to be present).
