Drexel University and The Computer Fixer on Campus

Drexel University and The Computer Fixer on Campus have developed a computer maintenance plan to transition from in-house services to outsourcing using a reliable service provider.

For years University environments tried to provide support solely from within. The need for computer maintenance and support quickly out paced the in-house capability because of the sheer volume of PC & MAC is in use.

The Computer Fixer on Campus services are designed to compliment Drexel's existing support systems.

The Computer Fixer on Campus was chosen because of their successful maintenance plan at the University of Pennsylvania for the past 8 years. This track record proved that The Computer Fixer on Campus understands the needs of the university environment.

Our plan depends on your cooperation. By having the majority of the schools, labs and offices at Drexel utilize select vendors such as The Computer Fixer on Campus, the cost of service is reduced by volume.

    Here is the Plan:

    1. Contact each decision maker, both support personnel and Business Administrators via phone, email and in person.
    2. Gather information. We need to help determine your needs. Please submit quantity, manufacturer and models of existing computers, printers and peripherala. (The Computer Fixer on Campus will come out on-site to obtain Serial Numbers for your convenience.)
    3. The Computer Fixer on Campus will provide you with a maintenance plan and associated costs to help you plan your budget.
    4. The Computer Fixer on Campus has designated on-site Certified Technicians that can service Macintosh and also Windows/Intel based computers. Our technicians also are capable of networking, communications and other hardware products.
