You can use Word’s Format Painter feature to copy the text formatting from one area of a document, then apply it to another area:
• To apply bold formatting, select the text and press CTRL+B.
• To apply underlining, select the text and press CTRL+U.
• To apply italics, select the text and press CTRL+I.
• To center, left-align, or right-align a selected paragraph, press CTRL+E, CTRL+L, or CTRL+R, respectively.
• To create a black line, press the hyphen key three or more times and press ENTER. To create a thicker black line, hold down the SHIFT key, press the hyphen key three or more times, and press ENTER.
• To select a word, double-click it.
• To select a sentence, press CTRL and click inside the sentence.
• To select a paragraph, triple-click inside the paragraph.
• To select an entire document, press CTRL+A.
