This Quick Guide to Information Resources and Technology provides an overview of the computing and information resources environment at Drexel University. Many services at Drexel are available primarily – or solely – electronically. For your electronic identity, you will need:

Your Drexel computer account provides access, upon login with your username and password, to the following services:

  • DrexelOne portal account

  • @drexel.edu email account

  • Drexel Domain account (including the Software Server, Blackboard Vista, DragonFly3, etc.)

Activate accounts online at http://accounts.drexel.edu . Also, you can use this site to create one personal email address (alias) per email account, or forward your incoming email to another address, including Drexel’s LinkEdu Microsoft™ Exchange and Google™ mail accounts. See the LinkEdu section on panel 4.

Your personal University I.D. number, an automatically-generated eight-digit number, is the key identifier that tracks your records through the systems at Drexel University. Find your number along with your computer account(s) at http://accounts.drexel.edu. Once you have activated your Drexel computer account(s), you can also look up your University I.D. number at
https://www.drexel.edu/irt/univid .
