- DAAD RISE North America
DAAD is the umbrella organization for academic exchange between the US and Germany. The program, modeled on their very successful RISE program for US students, allows US STEM faculty researchers to host a German student in their labs for the summer, with student expenses paid by the German government. Research projects are submitted to a DAAD database in the fall, which German students can search and apply to directly. You evaluate the quality of students who apply to your project.
