Lauren Weinrich, Ph.D. student in Environmental Engineering, has been recognized as a "Young Technology Leader" (TAP-YTL) by the German American Chamber of Commerce of the Midwest's Transatlantic Program. She is one of only 12 delegates that wasselected following an intense three-week application and screening process. The participants chosen for the program, including Lauren, were then sent to explore Germany as the worldwide leading exporter of sustainable water technologies.

The TAP-YTL series is designed to bring future decision makers from the US and Germany together at the beginning of their professional careers, or late in their studies, to build networks and promote transfer of know-how through content-driven encounters and experiences.
