Dr. Kathleen FisherOn Nov. 6, 2009 was awarded the 2009 International Research Prize by the Australasian Society for the Study of Intellectual Disability (ASSID) for “a report of high quality innovative and/or practical research which has potential for positive changes to the quality of life of people with intellectual disability.”  The presentation of this award was at the annual ASSID conference in Hobart, Australia
