Dr. Douglas Michele Turco facilitated a research workshop for 2010 Delhi Commonwealth game organizers
Common Wealth Games Organizing Committee along with IIM (Indian Institute of Management) Shillong has planned a project called 'Vision to Victory' that will include research work for upcoming Games, in New Delhi, India.
Dr. Turco will work with IIM Shillong and CWG organizing committee to conduct research in this field. The results of this research will be incorporated in the Indian government's sports policy and will also help the Indian Government to bid for the Olympic Games in the future.
Dr. Turco facilitated a half-day research workshop for the 2010 Delhi Commonwealth Games organizers, the Sports Authority of India and others. This received wide coverage on the Indian news channels. Coverage shown below:
