          Small Classroom Audio/Video Instruction Manual

 

 

Power On
Press this button once to turn the video projector on. Note, projector requires approximately 30 sec to warm up.
The equipment in the podium can remain on at all times, but verify that the power strip’s main switch is on.

BluRay / Laptop / HDMI / PC
Select the source to be displayed on the projector by pressing the corresponding button. Connect an analog or digital laptop
via the appropriate cable on top of the desk.

Power Off
Press this button to turn off the video projector. Note, the projector requires approximately 90 seconds to cool down
BEFORE IT CAN BE TURNED ON AGAIN. All equipment in the rack may remain on.

Display Mute / Display On
Press the "Display Mute" button to mute the projector without having to turn the projector off.

Mute (for Volume only)
Press this button to mute/unmute the volume. The corresponding light will illuminate when muted. Use the knob to adjust the volume up and down. Note, this volume is for audio associated with the video source. Microphone volume is fixed and may be muted by pressing the appropriate button on the microphone.

Play / Stop / Pause / Menu (bottom row of buttons)
 
Press the appropriate button to control the BluRay disc player or access and navigate the player’s menu.

Troubleshooting:

 If no lights are illuminated on the control panel and system is not responding verify main power strip in equipment rack is turned on.

2.      When power is rebooted to the AV system, volume is reduced to a minimum. Rotate the volume knob clockwise until the corresponding bar graph lights or until desired volume.

3.      As noted, there is no user controls for microphone volume. However, the microphones can be muted on/off with their corresponding switch. This applies to both the wireless microphone and podium microphone.

4.      When connecting a laptop via analog or digital, it may be necessary to toggle the ‘Fn’ + ‘F#’ key to output the image to the projector.
