IAS Minor
The minor in International Area Studies is open to all disciplines and attracts a number of students from Business and Design Arts, as well as from other majors within the College of Arts and Sciences. Completion of level 201 in a language is a prerequisite for the minor. Students who elect an International Area Studies minor take at least 24 credits of literature, history, politics, social theory and/or business courses in the area of specialization. Courses Requirements for the minor include:
- IAS 359 Culture and Values
- WMST 240
- IAS 360
- One course : "Area Specific" History
- 12 Credits IAS Electives from distribution list *
