Alumni Nexus

Welcome, IAS Alumni!

Thank you very much for visiting our IAS alumni nexus. Some of you will know that I am new as Director of the International Area Studies program. In my new position, I am very interested to learn about who our graduates are and what you are doing. Please take a few moments to tell us about your lives since graduation, to share any news, and, if you want, to reflect on your personal and professional experiences at Drexel and beyond. Each of our alumni represents both the past and the future of International Area Studies. I want our students to learn from your experiences in the “real world” and I hope that you can provide a resource to help them in school and beyond.

As Drexel grows, our program is itself experiencing great expansion. We find ourselves uniquely positioned at Drexel to give students the sort of international outlook and experience with other cultures that will be vitally important in a globalized world. We offer our students language training, courses on intercultural understanding, and a knowledge of global history and politics that few other universities can offer to their students. The support of our alumni is greatly appreciated, and will be a tremendous resource for the program and its current students. I hope you will stay in touch with me and with the IAS program, and I thank you in advance for staying in touch and remaining part of the Drexel IAS community!
