Food 4 Thought: Global Warming — A Personal History On October 1, 2008, join Drexel alumni for lunch and a discussion in the Paul Peck Alumni Center with Dr. James Spotila, professor in the Department of Bioscience & Biotechnology, Betz Chair Professor of Environmental Science and director of the Center for Biodiversity and Conservation at the College of Arts & Sciences. Dr. Spotila will discuss global warming, which is one of the most important environmental issues of our time. Ellen Forman Memorial Dance Studio Opening Event Join us for the opening of the Ellen Forman Memorial Dance Studio on Friday, October 3, 2008. The studio opening event will give attendees an opportunity to see the newly-renovated studio, while connecting or reconnecting with Drexel Dance alumni and friends. The evening presentation will take place from 7 to 9 p.m. in Mandell Theater and will include a live performance of excerpts from dances by Ellen Forman, presented by Drexel students, and a video tribute to Ms. Forman. Head of the Charles Regatta Since 1965, rowers have come to the banks of the Charles River in Boston, MA, to take part in the world's largest regatta. Gather under the Drexel tent in Reunion Village along the river to cheer on the men's and women's crew teams as they compete against other top national and international colleges and universities.
