Roger J. Dennis Named Founding Dean of Drexel Law
Roger J. Dennis, a nationally known legal scholar and advocate of real-world legal education, has been appointed founding dean of the Drexel University College of Law, President Papadakis announced on January 30. His appointment followed a year-long national search. He succeeds acting dean Jennifer Rosato, who will remain associate dean of students and professor of law. Dennis will be charged with guiding the College through the American Bar Association’s multiyear accreditation process, which will begin in fall 2007. More

James R. Tucker Appointed Senior VP of Student Life and Administrative Services
Drexel welcomes James R. Tucker to the University community as our new senior vice president of student life and administrative services. Tucker, who will succeed Anthony T. Caneris, joins us from the University of Cincinnati, where he served as vice president for administrative and business services.
At Drexel, Tucker will oversee a broad spectrum of educational and administrative services and programs, including athletics, student life, auxiliary services, business operations, planning design and construction, public safety, contracted facility services, all facilities management, equality and disability, affirmative action and procurement. He will also serve as president of Academic Properties, Inc., Drexel’s subsidiary property management company, and as vice chair of the University City District. More
