Save the Date for the CAN DU Earth Day Project
The Community Alumni Network at Drexel University (CAN DU) invites alumni to join students and friends to celebrate Earth Day 2008. On Saturday, April 12, 2008, volunteers will participate in a service project to restore and preserve a portion of Fairmount Park in Philadelphia. The day will begin at 8 a.m. with an orientation session and continental breakfast in the Drexel Quad. Complimentary transportation will be provided to and from campus and the site at 52nd Street and Parkside Avenue. For more information, click here.

Drexel College of Law Receives American Bar Association Provisional Accreditation
The Drexel University College of Law has received provisional accreditation from the American Bar Association (ABA). The seal of approval comes at the earliest point allowed under the ABA's accreditation guidelines. Provisional accreditation means all Drexel Law graduates will be able to take the bar exam in any jurisdiction. Upon passing the exam, graduates can begin practicing professionally. More
Principles of Neuropsychology Book Signing and Reception
Alumni are invited to celebrate the publication of the second edition of the popular textbook Principles of Neuropsychology, co-authored by Drexel professors Drs. Eric Zillmer, Mary Spiers and Bill Culbertson, with a book signing and reception on Tuesday, February 26, 2008, from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Paul Peck Alumni Center. The event is complimentary and is sponsored by the Pacifico Professorship with the Drexel Department of Psychology and the Magnificent Minds Lecture and Art Series. Alumni Board of Governors Call for Nominations
Beginning Monday, March 3, 2008, the Drexel University Alumni Association will accept nominations of alumni interested in running for election to the Board of Governors. The Board oversees the Alumni Association's efforts to engage, advance and support the campus community and its alumni and students through a variety of programs, services and awards, as well as opportunities for volunteerism and advocacy.

Drexel Alumni Day at Star Wars
Join fellow alumni, friends and families in a galaxy far, far away as we explore "Star Wars: Where Science Meets Imagination" at The Franklin Institute on Saturday, March 29, 2008. The innovative exhibition uses the futuristic imaginings of one of the world's most successful film franchises as a lens into the future of robotics and travel. 18th Annual Madrigal Dinner
The Drexel Chamber Singers travel back in time to 1608 to present an evening of Renaissance fun and merriment.
