Alumni Honors and Awards 2009 Nominations
Each year the Drexel University Alumni Board of Governors recognizes alumni for outstanding achievements in their professions, in the community and within the university. We encourage all members of the alumni and university community to participate in the awards process by sharing the achievements of fellow alumni, colleagues, and friends with the committee for nomination. We invite you to review the awards criteria and submit nominations for worthy candidates. More

Alumni Board of Governors Call for Nominations
The Alumni Association will accept nominations, between March 2 and 27, 2009, for alumni interested in running for election to the Board of Governors. The Board oversees the Alumni Association's efforts to engage, advance and support the campus community and its alumni and students through a variety of programs, services and awards, as well as opportunities for volunteerism and advocacy. Additional information about the role and responsibilities of the Board and how to nominate yourself or another qualified candidate is available online. More

Dranoff

Alumni Profile: Carl Dranoff, CoE '70
In the world of real estate and development, the name Carl Dranoff is synonymous with success. The numerous historical and newly-built structures in Philadelphia that Dranoff has transformed are a testament to the substantial impact he's made on his beloved city over the last ten years

Dranoff specializes in taking on large-scale, transformative projects in order to create what he calls, 'not just buildings, but destinations.' His endeavors with his development firm, Dranoff Properties, have been chronicled in countless publications from Philadelphia Magazine to the New York Times and the Wall Street Journal. Among the dozens of awards he's received, Dranoff was honored as Ernst & Young's Entrepreneur of the Year in 2008. More
