Drexel alumni will come together to celebrate the Class of 1962 as they are inducted into the Golden Dragon Society on Friday, May 4, 2012 at Alumni Weekend 2012.

All members of the Society are also invited to join the Class of 1962 for the annual Golden Dragon Society luncheon that afternoon, followed by a tour of Drexel's ever-evolving campus.
Events include:
Class of 1962 Welcome Reception
9 to 10 a.m., NEW LOCATION: Great Court, Main Building, 32nd and Chestnut Streets
Visit with classmates and friends from the Class of 1962 while enjoying breakfast fare, coffee, tea, bloody Marys, mimosas and soft drinks.
Golden Dragon Society Induction and Pinning Ceremony
10 to 11:30 a.m., NEW LOCATION: Main Building Auditorium, 32nd and Chestnut Streets
Join members of the Class of 1962 as they are officially inducted into the Golden Dragon Society and presented with Society pins at this special reunion ceremony.

11:45 a.m. to noon, Great Court Staircase, Main Building, 32nd and Chestnut Streets
Gather with classmates on the staircase of the historic Main Building – the University's original building – which celebrated its 120-year anniversary on December 17, 2011.
Golden Dragon Society Annual Luncheon
Noon to 2 p.m., Behrakis Grand Hall, Creese Student Center, 32nd and Chestnut Streets
Catch up on 50 or more years of memories with classmates and friends, as well as past inductees of the Golden Dragon Society, while enjoying a three-course luncheon. The Alumni Association will also present its annual Golden Dragon Society Award.
Campus Bus Tour
2:15 to 3:30 p.m., Departing and returning outside the Creese Student Center, 32nd and Chestnut Streets
Following lunch, hop aboard a Drexel shuttle bus for a guided tour of the University City campus led by current students. Check out all of the changes that have taken place since your last visit to the campus.
If you have already celebrated your 50th reunion and have received your Golden Dragon Society pin, please join us for the Society Luncheon. Also, if your 50th reunion has passed and you were unable to attend, please let us know when you register. We welcome you to join us for the Golden Dragon Society Pinning Ceremony, where you will be inducted into the Society.

In addition to all of the exciting events planned for the Golden Dragons at Alumni Weekend, everyone in attendance will receive a complimentary Class of 1962 Memory Book as a keepsake and a reminder of your reunion. We hope you will be part of the Class of 1962 Memory Book by submitting an entry page! A lot can happen in 50 years – wouldn't you like to find out what your classmates have been up to?
You have the freedom to include whatever you like in your entry, so share photographs, Drexel memories, or tell us what you've been doing since 1962. For examples of entry pages, click here for some excerpts from the Class of 1961 Memory Book.
If you cannot attend Alumni Weekend, you're still welcome to submit an entry page and a completed Class of 1962 Memory Book will be mailed to you in the spring.
The deadline to submit your Memory Book entry is Friday, March 16, 2012.
