Bring the fire to your job and become a Dragons @ Work captain today!

As a captain, here's what you'll need to do in order to bring Dragons @ Work to your place of employment:

  • Ask your employer if you and your colleagues are allowed to participate in Dragons @ Work or provide us with the contact information and we'll make sure your participation is cleared. Then, click the link below to sign-up to be a Dragons @ Work captain.
  • Work with us to compile a list of the names and contact information for your co-workers who are also Drexel alumni, as well as any Drexel co-op students who work with you.
  • Collaborate with us to prepare and distribute an email invitation to your co-workers which will include Dragons @ Work details as well as a link to sign-up for the event.
  • We'll keep you informed as your co-workers sign-up, and will provide you with subsequent e-mail reminders to send as January 23 approaches.
  • Two weeks before the event, we'll send you a spirit kit filled with Year of the Dragon commemorative items to distribute to your colleagues.
  • During the Dragons @ Work event, gather together for a group photograph with your co-workers and post it to Facebook and tag the Drexel University Alumni Association, or e-mail it to the Alumni Office at Feel free to share your experience, as well as additional photographs on Facebook or Twitter throughout the day.
  • You are also welcome to plan other activities for the day with your co-workers, such as going out to lunch together or meeting up for a happy hour after work.

It's all about celebrating the Drexel connection you all share!

Dragons @ Work is a special one-day event that gives Drexel alumni and current co-op students the opportunity to celebrate their Drexel pride at work! The event will take place on Monday, January 23, 2012, the official start to the Chinese Year of the Dragon. You can celebrate by volunteering to be your company's Dragons @ Work captain or by participating in Dragons @ Work activities already planned in your company.
