In Case You Missed It: 4th Annual Alumni Global Night of Networking

Thank you to everyone who participated in the 4th Annual Drexel Alumni Global Night of Networking on Wednesday, April 2! Whether you attended a reception in your area, or you tuned in to the Virtual Site, we're glad you decided to be part of the GNN!

The GNN continues to grow each year, as word spreads about this global celebration. The numbers are in and this year we welcomed a record-breaking 1,335 alumni at networking receptions across the world and on the 24-hour Virtual Site. In addition, hundreds more followed along with the GNN on social media throughout the day.

Photos & Virtual Site Videos
If you weren't able to join us for the GNN, you can still experience some of the fun online. Click here to see photos from the alumni receptions we held around the world, and check out some of the talks, tours, and presentations from the Virtual Site which have been posted to the Alumni Association YouTube Channel.

Share Your Feedback
Soon we'll be planning the 5th annual GNN and for that, we need your help. Please take a moment to fill out this brief survey about your experience this year—at a reception or on the Virtual Site. Your feedback is extremely important to us, and it will guide us as we plan an even bigger and better GNN in 2015!

Khushbu Patel '14

In January, HarperCollins released "Spirit Rising: My Life, My Music," a memoir by Grammy Award-winning singer Angélique Kidjo and co-authored by Rachel Wenrick, associate teaching professor of English at Drexel. While it was a highly collaborative project between the writer and singer, Wenrick is the first to say they couldn't have done it without the help of Drexel psychology student and Humanities Fellow, Khushbu Patel '14.

Meet Patel and find out what attracted her to the project and how it ultimately helped her grow as a social scientist. More
