41st Annual Alumni Holiday Turkey Project

The Alumni Association's 41st Annual Alumni Holiday Turkey project was held on Thursday, Dec. 18, outside of the Paul Peck Alumni Center.

Over 90 volunteers distributed 1,200 turkeys to 33 community organizations throughout Philadelphia, including Drexel's Dornsife Center for Neighborhood Partnerships and Drexel's 11th Street Family Health Services Center.

Alumni, faculty, staff and friends donated a record-breaking $25,000 to the Project. Thank you to everyone who supported the Turkey Project this year, either by making a gift or by distributing turkeys.

Each year, it's a pleasure to share this Drexel tradition with you as we help our neighbors in need during the holiday season!

Mike DiMaggio

Mike DiMaggio
BS 1987 Marketing

Mike DiMaggio decided to go to Drexel to study engineering with the hopes of someday building rollercoasters.

"Drexel is and was one of the best east coast engineering schools so it was the most logical choice to go there," he said.

After a losing battle with calculus, DiMaggio switched his major to marketing. He pledged Tau Kappa Epsilon and joined the student theater group, the Drexel Players.
