The A.J. Drexel Paul Award was established in 1961 in memory of Mr. Paul, a descendent of the University’s founder, who served on the University’s Board of Trustees from 1908 until 1958. The criteria for selection are:
- Drexel Attendance: Recipient must be an alumnus or alumna and must have attended Drexel for at least two years. The last year of attendance will have been at least five years prior to consideration.
- Service: Personal achievement reflecting credit on Drexel is the most important requirement. This achievement should be in one of the following: professional attainment reflecting credit on Drexel University, or contributions to community life that reflect on Drexel.
- Drexel Activities: A continuing interest and active participation in Drexel activities and the development of the University in all areas.
The A.J. Drexel Paul Award is the highest honor bestowed by the Alumni Association and is presented at the A.J. Drexel Society Gala in the fall.

Conferred upon a graduate who attended Drexel for at least two years and who, through the use of his or her Drexel education, initiative and innovation created a new business or venture, or expanded an existing business that reflects credit on Drexel.
- Initiative: The entrepreneur took the initiative to bring together the economic resources of land, labor and capital to produce a commodity (whether a goods or service) with the hope that such production will create a profitable business venture.
- Decision-making: The entrepreneur makes the basic business policy decisions for the business, thereby setting the course of the enterprise.
- Innovation: The entrepreneur is an innovator, attempting to introduce new products and new ways of doing things.
- Risk-taker: The entrepreneur risks his or her time, effort, business reputation and invested funds in the entrepreneurial venture.
The Alumni Entrepreneur Award is presented at the Alumni Association Awards Ceremony during Alumni Weekend in May.

Conferred upon an individual who attended Drexel for at least two years and who graduated 50 years ago (Golden Dragon) or 25-49 years ago (Silver Dragon) for distinguished service to the University, or who has served the University in a unique or special way and continues to demonstrate interest and active participation in Drexel activities and the development of the University.
The Golden Dragon Society and Silver Dragon Society Awards are presented during the 50-year and 25-year reunion activities during Alumni Weekend in May.

Conferred upon a graduate who, through voluntary or paid work, has significantly contributed to civic and/or community life.

Nominees should demonstrate both active involvement and leadership in University activities and community organizations as demonstrated through commitment of time and roles of responsibility. Nominees should also be in good academic standing with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
The Outstanding Student Awards are presented at the Alumni Association Awards Ceremony during Alumni Weekend in May.

Presented to an individual who graduated within the last 10 years and has excelled in his/her profession, exhibiting outstanding achievement, entrepreneurship or leadership within a chosen field.
The Young Alumni Achievement Award is presented at the Alumni Association Awards Ceremony during Alumni Weekend in May.
Presented to an individual who graduated within the last 10 years who has demonstrated notable community, public or humanitarian service outside of his/her profession in the spirit of a true Drexel Dragon.
The Young Alumni Community Spirit Award is presented during Homecoming.

Presented by the Goodwin College of Professional Studies
These awards are a means to express pride in the accomplishments of Drexel alumni. The recipients are individuals whose accomplishments reflect credit upon the Goodwin College Alumni Association, five, 10, and 20 years after graduation.
Formerly titled the Friend of Drexel Award, this award was established by Joseph S. Mozino '25 to honor devoted service by members of Drexel's faculty and administration. A special committee selects recipients based on evidenced interest in students and education, non-educational activities, personal attributes, and length of service to Drexel.
This award was first presented in 2002 to Joseph L. Vetter '51, '54, in honor of his years of volunteer service to the Goodwin College. Subsequently, the award is presented annually to an alumnus/a or individual with a close affiliation to the college who has volunteered both time and effort for the college’s benefit.
The Key "D" Award was initially presented in 1933 to an alumnus/a who had performed significantly for the Evening College Alumni Association. Today, the award recognizes alumni of 20 years or more whose overall record best reflects professional accomplishments, civic activities, support of the college affairs and loyalty to Drexel.
This award, named for Mrs. George W. Childs Drexel, is given to an outstanding alumnus/a of the Goodwin College. Criteria for selection include past contributions of measurable benefit in forwarding the work of Drexel and its future; personal attainments reflecting credit to the University; contributions to civic and community life; and a continuing interest and active participation in Drexel activities and in its development in all areas.
The criteria for the Specialty Award includes exceptional achievements attained by an alumnus/a in a particular major. Recipients have attained positions of responsibility through the application of their Drexel education in a specialty field.

Presented by the Harriet E. Worrell Society
In 1969, the Harriet E. Worrell Society Award was established in memory of Harriet Worrell, an exceptional Drexel alumna of the Classes of 1909 and 1915 who, through talent and dedication, created the Drexel University Alumni Association.
The Harriet E. Worrell Society Award is presented to an alumna whose professional achievements, contribution to the community, and service to her alma mater embody Worrell’s spirit of commitment and integrity. Recipients are selected by a committee of past honorees and must have attended Drexel for at least two years, with the last day of attendance at least five years prior to consideration.

The Outstanding Alumni Educator Award is present to a graduate of the Drexel School of Education, or an education-related program offered through Drexel, who has demonstrated exceptional skill and ability as an educator as well as a commitment to the profession of education.
