Master of Science in Sport Management
The Master of Science in Sport Management is offered as a part-time, two-year program. The program is offered both on-campus and online in order to meet the needs of a diverse population, including the busy sport industry professional.
All students are required to complete research project/ thesis as a degree requirement. This is the culminating course in the program. Students will learn to design an original study and conduct substantial research and analysis. Students will then present their conclusions in a final research project/thesis.
For degree requirements and course descriptions, please visit the Drexel University Online Course Catalog.
Note: Students can NOT mix and match on-campus and online courses in the program. The online and on campus programs are distinct and run on different course sequence plans.
A summer residency program is required for online students and strongly encouraged for on-campus students. This four day seminar course is typically held in July in Philadelphia. The residency covers unique topics in areas of sport business, sport media, sport marketing and sport law. The week is comprised of special guest speakers, facility tours, team building, and networking opportunities.
