Local Culinary Traditions - Dornisfe Center Collaboration Through the Local Culinary Traditions course from the Department of Culinary Arts and Food Science, Drexel students and members of the Mantua community will collaborate at Drexel's Dornsife Center to explore food culture and traditions of West Philadelphia. The course focuses on food and identity by examining the diversity of food traditions in the local community and our campus. Free Library Culinary Literacy Center - Supportive Older Women's Network The Center for Hospitality and Sport Management and the Free Library's Culinary Literacy Center have developed a culinary class devoted to grandparent-led families in the community through the Supportive Older Women's Network. Chef instructors prepare a variety of healthy summer meals utilizing affordable and easily accessible ingredients. Hands-on training focuses on easy to make summer dishes both on and off the grill.
