Please note that the Drexel and DUCOM Employee Handbooks are not all-inclusive and other policies relating to employment may also apply. These documents in their entirety apply to all regular full-time and part-time employees; all casual, temporary, and per diem employees as defined herein and all employees who may be hired for a definite period. The term “employees” shall not include any individuals hired to perform services for an employer as leased employees, agency contract personnel or independent contractors, and their respective employees or agents, notwithstanding that such individuals may be subsequently re-classified by a court, government agency, tribunal, or arbitrator as common law employees of an employer.
These manuals supersede any prior manuals or notices relating to materials contained herein. These manuals and its policies do not guarantee employment for any definite period of time. Employment with the University is considered “at-will.” The employee or employer may terminate the employment relationship at any time with or without cause, and no oral or written statement can alter this relationship except through a written agreement signed by the President or his delegate.
If there is a conflict between the information presented here and the information contained in any pertinent plan documents or policies issued by the President of the University, such plan documents and policies always govern and are the controlling legal documents.
