Temporary Employee & Co-op New Employee Packet

Please use Temporary and Co-op New Employee Packet to print out the forms you will need to submit to Human Resources in order to become eligible in the payroll system.

Complete these forms and bring with you to HR once your hiring department's manager has successfully submitted an Authorization to Hire Form to their assigned HR-Consultant. To be fully processed, we will need your new employee packet and acceptable form(s) of identification, so that HR can submit your documentation with your department's form, and then send off to HRIS (HRIS@drexel.edu).

The Human Resources Department is located at 3201 Arch Street, Suite 430. Our office hours are Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Purpose of forms:

  • New Employee Form: required id and demographic info
  • Drexel University Employment Application: general information
  • Non Residence Tax: claim exemption of withholdings in PA and claim withholdings in the state where you reside (eg. Work in PA, but live in NJ).
  • I-9: to verify that you are eligible to work in the United States
  • Acceptable Forms of ID: you must bring at least 2 forms on your first day
  • Acknowledgements: 403b program, Policies, work-related injuries, EEO, DrexelOne
  • Occupational Health: vital for screening and vaccinations depending on your job
  • Direct Deposit: allows for greater convenience on payday
  • Background checks for this category are used at the discretion of the hiring manager
