Introduction to Benefits
At Drexel University and Drexel University College of Medicine, we're pleased to offer comprehensive, competitive benefits to eligible* employees and their eligible dependents**. From healthcare to holidays, our aim is to help Drexel and DUCOM employees enjoy happy and healthy lifestyles, while maintaining a good work-life balance.
Employees can enroll themselves and their dependents in benefits upon hire, during the open enrollment period, or if they meet a qualified life event.
If you have questions about your benefits, consider attending a Benefits Buzz session, read our Benefits FAQs, contact your benefit provider directly, or contact the Benefits Service Center: 1-888-971-0101 (press 1 for Flexible Spending Accounts, press 2 for Commuter Reimbursements, or press 3 for all other questions).
*All full-time professional staff working a minimum of 40 hours a week and faculty working 12 or more credit hours in three or more quarters are eligible to participate in all benefit programs. Part-time professional staff working at least 20 hours a week and faculty with at least a 50% appointment are eligible to participate in all subsidized and voluntary plans.
**Eligible dependents include your spouse, same-sex Domestic Partners, and dependent children up to age 19 or up to age 23 if enrolled as a full-time student (for dental and vision) or up to age 26 (medical and prescription drug).
Drexel Human Resources also provides administrative support for all HR services and functions at Drexel University’s separate, not-for-profit subsidiary, Drexel University College of Medicine.
