Vice President

Vice President of Human Resources Deborah Glenn joined Drexel in 2007 as a director and HR partner, working with Drexel's leadership on their strategic human capital objectives. Ms. Glenn was named Interim Vice President for Human Resources in June 2009, and named the Vice President for Human Resources in March 2010.

Prior to joining Drexel, Ms. Glenn served as Vice President of Human Resources and Organizational Development at SECU Credit Union of Maryland, Inc.  She brings 20 years of HR experience to Drexel, having held various senior level human resources positions in a variety of industries. A labor relations expert with a focus on organizational development and change management, Ms. Glenn has experience in higher education in both the public and private sectors, including the American Association of University Women in Washington, Emory University in Atlanta, the University of Maryland at College Park, and the Corporation for Public Broadcasting.

She is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources through the Society for Human Resources Management's HR Certification Institute, and is also a certified mediator. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Administrative Services and a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology.

Ms. Glenn is active in her community and has participated in community revitalization programs, including Habitat for Humanity. She has served as a Big Sister and mentor for a womanhood training program.
