Come
learn how to better manage Diabetes with experts Dr. Barbara Simon and Lyn
Weisbein RN CDE from the Drexel University College of Medicine. The speakers
will focus on managing Type 2 Diabetes from the perspective of medication and
lifestyle interventions
Dr. Barbara Simon is the section chief of the
Division of Endocrinology at Drexel University College of Medicine. Her
interests include diabetes technology and intensive diabetes management, with a
focus on patient education in diabetes management.
Linda (Lyn) Weisbein RN, BA, CDE, a certified
diabetes educator and clinical nurse specialist, is the director of the
diabetes education program at Drexel University College of Medicine and has
been practicing as an RN for more than 20 years.
This talk is open to Drexel University faculty
and professional staff. Registration in Career Pathway is required.
