Prospective Students

Academic Opportunities: Students accepted into the Pennoni Honors College may take advantage of exclusive opportunities, including Honors colloquia and Honors sections of University courses. These classes are taught by Drexel's finest faculty members, and class sizes are kept small to encourage discussion.

Honors Housing: For the 2010-2011 academic year, the brand new Millenium Residence Hall has been designated the living-learning community for the Pennoni Honors College.

Honors Center: Located on the fifth floor of MacAlister Hall (on the corner of 33rd and Chestnut Streets) in the hub of campus, the Honors Center houses the College's administrative offices, as well as a Seminar Room and Student Lounge.

High School Student Shadowing Program: Choosing a college or university is a critically important decision that shapes a student's future life experience. The Pennoni Honors College offers high school seniors an opportunity to visit Drexel University and spend the day with a Pennoni Honors College student.

Global Scholars Scholarships: Drexel University will award five $5000 scholarships to incoming freshmen with an interest in global cultures, language study and studying abroad.

To be considered for the Global Scholars Scholarship, an application for admission along with high school transcripts, SAT or ACT scores, and letters of recommendation, must be on file with the Admissions Office by January 15.

Drexel Distinguished Service Scholarships: Drexel University will award five $5000 scholarships to incoming freshmen with a significant record of community service. Consideration will be given to recipients of Congressional Service Awards, applicants who have participated in Corporation for National and Community Service programs (e.g., Learn and Serve America, AmeriCorps, or City Year), and applicants with distinguished service records during high school.
