Biography
William L. Rosenberg, Ph.D., is a Professor of Political Science at Drexel University.
Dr. Rosenberg is the author of over 80 articles, papers and technical reports. He is a co-author of two books related to public opinion and public policy, "News Verdicts, the Debates and Presidential Campaigns" and "The Politics of Disenchantment: Bush, Clinton, Perot and the Press.” Dr. Rosenberg is a well known expert in the presidential election process as well public opinion and media related to the campaigns.
In addition, Dr. Rosenberg has served as Principal Investigator on a number of large-scale multi-year evaluation studies for various government agencies at both the state and national level. He has also served on a variety of National Advisory Panels for the Department of HHS. In addition to his evaluation research, he has been active in conducting opinion research on immigration related issues. He is an expert in conducting both quantitative and qualitative studies using telephone, web, mail, intercept, and in-person surveys as well as focus group techniques. Dr. Rosenberg was the Founder and Director of the Drexel University Survey Research Center for 20 years.
He has taught applied research methods techniques at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. As a member of Mid-West Association of Public Opinion Researchers (MAPOR) for over 20 years, he has been a regular presenter and chair at the annual conferences as well as a member of its Executive Board. He has also served as President of MAPOR. He has also served on the Ethics and Standards Committee of the American Association for Public Opinion Research (AAPOR).
Dr. Rosenberg has been a research consultant for a variety of public and private organizations within the city, region and nation. He is also a regular analyst for television, radio, and newspapers. Dr. Rosenberg served as a campaign analyst for CNN and the BBC during the 2008 Presidential election. In addition to these appearances, Dr. Rosenberg served as the debate analyst for POTUS XM Channel 130 after the Democratic and Republican debates for the 2008 Presidential Election and continues to serve there as well as other media outlets as a political analyst.
