What is Dragon Nutrition?
Dragon Nutrition is a FREE series of three personalized one-on-one nutrition counseling sessions with a Drexel University registered dietitian (RD).
Where will these sessions be held?
Three locations are available: Parkway Health and Wellness (1601 Cherry Street), the Drexel Recreation Center (3301 Market Street), or by phone as a "tele-nutrition" session.
What if I do not have time to come in for a session?
Try tele-nutrition. We offer tele-consultations with our expert nutrition staff. Appointments for tele-nutrition are available Wednesdays from 9:00am-1:00pm. When scheduling an appointment, please make sure to indicate that you are interested in tele-nutrition.
Who is eligible for Dragon Nutrition?
This program is available to all benefit-eligible employees of Drexel University, Drexel University College of Medicine and the Academy of Natural Sciences at Drexel University. Benefit-eligible employees are those employees who meet the requirements to receive medical coverage through Drexel University.

What can I expect at my first meeting with the RD?
The first meeting with the RD will begin with a complete nutrition and medical history including an assessment of body composition. A realistic plan will be created based on individualized goals and lifestyles.
Is nutrition counseling only for those who want to lose weight?
Not at all. Registered dietitians can help with any dietary concerns including management of chronic diseases, guidance navigating food allergies, sensitivities and intolerances, and strategies to improve athletic performance.
How do I sign-up for this benefit?
Please contact Parkway Health and Wellness at (215) 553-7012 or firstname.lastname@example.org to schedule, or if you have questions.
