Science Magazine Subscription Announcement

Just like they did last year, the AAAS/Science Program for Excellence in Science has kindly offered to sign up to 200 of our graduate students, medical students and postdocs for a special, free one-year subscription to Science. Interested students must submit their applications to Dr. Teck-Kah Lim by Tuesday, June 24th and nominees will be forwarded on a first-come, first-served basis. Applications should include full names and an email address.

The AAAS/Science Program for Excellence in Science has received funding for this program from several corporations which are sponsoring a limited number of one-year AAAS/Science memberships for graduate students, medical students, and postdocs working in leading life science laboratories. Those selected will receive a full membership in AAAS (American Association for the Advancement of Science) and a one-year subscription to the weekly journal Science at no charge. International nominees will receive Science Digital Edition.

This program is restricted to individuals who are not current AAAS members/Science subscribers. Students who have received this special membership in the past are also ineligible to participate again. Nominees will be contacted and invited to participate in the AAAS/Science Program for Excellence in Science. Those who qualify will join the nearly 130,000 AAAS members and Science subscribers in the world's largest multidisciplinary science organization.
