Third Annual Graduate Student Day at Drexel University

Drexel's Third Annual Graduate Student Day will be held in the Mitchell Auditorium in the Bossone Research Enterprise Center on Tursday, May 8th at 4pm. The event, sponsored by the Office of Graduate Studies, is open to the entire Drexel community but especially welcome are all master’s and doctoral students, faculty and advisors.

Graduate Student Day celebrates the contribution of Drexel’s graduate students.  Those who have excelled as teaching assistants and in research will be recognized with awards, and the Most Outstanding Master's Graduates of 2008 will be announced.  Faculty mentors who have enhanced the graduate student experience will also be honored by the Graduate Student Association. A panel of recent alumni will discuss life during and after graduate studies. And Dr. Teck-Kah Lim, Associate Vice Provost for Graduate Studies, will address the state of graduate education at Drexel.
