Graduate College Coffee Hour Seminar - the Academic Job Search

The Graduate College Coffee Hour Seminar Series brings together graduate students, faculty and professional staff from across Drexel's schools, colleges and centers for in-demand professional development presentations and workshops. The seminars are comprised of about one hour of interactive presentation, activity or group work, followed by questions and discussion.
 
The Jan. 27 Academic Job Search Seminar will be in the Graduate Student Lounge (Main 010) at 2 p.m. with coffee and light refreshments provided.
 
Erin McNamara Horvat, PhD, senior vice provost for faculty affairs in the Office of the Provost, and Jonathan Spanier, PhD, professor and associate dean in the College of Engineering, will be be discussing academic searches and typical timelines, cover letters and application packages, interviews, preparation tips, and will be available to answer questions.
