  • Graduate Admission Application

    Applicants may only apply to one program. All documents submitted by you or on your behalf in support of this application for admission to Drexel University become the property of the University, and will under no circumstances be released to you or any other party. Please note, an application fee of $65 U.S. is required.

  • Transcripts

    Provide official transcripts from all colleges and universities attended.

  • International Transcript Evaluation (international applicants only)

    Transcripts must be evaluated by an approved agency for admittance into this program. For more information on transcript evaluations, please refer to the Admission Application Instructions.

  • Standardized Test Scores

    GRE, GMAT, LSAT, or MCAT – This requirement may be waived for applicants who hold a master's degree or first professional degree from an accredited U.S. institution.

    Applicants to the Executive MPH program can be waived of the GRE requirement under one of the following circumstances:

    1. 1. Applicant possesses a master's or first professional degree (MD, DO, PhD, JD, etc.) from an accredited college or university
    2. 2. Applicant obtained a grade of B or better in an undergraduate or graduate course in one of the following: Pre-calculus, Calculus, Algebra, Statistics, or an equivalent such as completion of the School of Public Health's Certificate in Epidemiology and Biostatistics
    3. 3. Applicant has professional and educational experiences demonstrating quantitative skills and aptitude.

    Eligibility of the waiver under options 1 or 2 will be verified upon receipt of the applicant's official transcripts. Applicants interested in waving the GRE requirement under option 3 should submit a brief statement of request along with their resume/CV to sphadmissions@drexel.edu for consideration. Applicants will be notified within 2 weeks if the GRE waiver has been granted.

    TOEFL scores are required for international applicants or applicants who earned a degree outside the U.S. (minimum scores: 90/577/233). Scores will be reviewed based on section scores and total scores. IELTS scores may be submitted in lieu of TOEFL scores.

  • Essay

    Discuss how you became interested in the public health profession, a current public health issue, and how the Executive MPH will allow you to achieve your career goals.

    For Fall 2016, Winter 2017, and Spring 2017: Submit your essay by mail or through the Drexel University Admission Essay form.

    For Summer 2017 and beyond: Submit your essay with your application or through the Discover Drexel portal after you submit your application.

  • Résumé

    For Fall 2016, Winter 2017, and Spring 2017: Submit your résumé by mail or email it as an attachment to enroll@drexel.edu.

    For Summer 2017 and beyond: Upload your résumé as part of your admission application or through the Discover Drexel Portal after you submit your application.

  • Letters of Recommendation

    Two letters of recommendation are required. To electronically request recommendations, you must list your recommenders and their contact information on your application. We advise that you follow up with your recommenders to ensure they received your recommendation request — they may need to check their junk mail folder. Additionally, it is your responsibility to confirm that your recommenders will submit letters by your application deadline and follow up with recommenders who have not completed their recommendations.

    For Fall 2016, Winter 2017, and Spring 2017: Use the Electronic Letter of Recommendation form to submit your recommendation letters.

    For Summer 2017 and beyond: Request recommendations with your application or through the Discover Drexel portal after you submit your application.

  • Work Experience

    Applicants to the Executive MPH program must have three years of professional work experience (in any setting) prior to enrolling.
