  • Standardized Test Scores
    GRE test scores are required, minimum Quantitative 148 (600 on previous 800-point scale), Verbal 146 (400 on previous 800-point scale)

    GRE Subject Test is required for PhD applicants to be considered for assistantships. The deadline to be considered for assistantships is January 1.

    TOEFL scores are required for international applicants or applicants who earned a degree outside the U.S. (minimum scores: 100/600/250). Scores will be reviewed based on section scores and total scores. IELTS scores may be submitted in lieu of TOEFL scores.

    The minimum IELTS band score is 7.0.

  • Essay

    An essay is required for all applicants. Please specify the area or areas of specialization that most interest you and why you are interested in pursuing this interest at Drexel.

    Submit your essay by mail or through the Drexel University Admission Essay form.

  • Résumé

    Submit your résumé by mail or email it as an attachment to enroll@drexel.edu.

  • Letters of Recommendation

    Two letters of recommendation are required. Use the Electronic Letter of Recommendation form to submit your recommendation letters.

  • I-20 Application and Supporting Financial Documents (international applicants only)

    Print and complete the I-20 Application Form [PDF] and submit it with your supplemental materials.

  • Academic Experience

    A GPA of 3.0 or better from undergraduate coursework is required.
