Curriculum

The B.S. in Computing and Security Technology consists of 185 credits. In order to produce well-rounded students who are effective communicators, this 185-credit curriculum includes 89 credits in non-CST courses, including free electives and general studies. These courses include philosophy, physics, history, mathematics, writing, public speaking, and social science.

After students learn about computing technology in hands on classes, at the end of the program, they complete a two term senior project under the supervision of a faculty member. The project will be designed to solve a problem and develop new ideas within the student’s concentration. The senior project (capstone) is a professional level project consisting of a formal written report and oral presentation.
