Health-Services Administration
The Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Health-Services Administration, offered as a Saturday Scholars® program through Drexel University's College of Nursing and Health Professions, prepares students for administrative and managerial positions in the ever-expanding, ever-changing health-care industry.
A graduate of the B.S. Program in Health Services Administration will be able to do the following:

Utilize the growing body of knowledge regarding the ever-expanding health-care industry -both nationally and internationally-in a managerial capacity in a health-services setting.

Demonstrate leadership skills.

Contribute to the health-services professions by sharing knowledge and skills with clients, peers, and health professionals through effective verbal and written communications.

Effectively utilize various technologies to access and manage information in a variety of settings.

Assess changes in health-care and community needs.

Communicate to staff new developments, changes, and department/clinical needs.

Use policies and standards as a guide to professional behavior and practice.

Participate in ongoing educational activities to enhance personal growth and professional practice.

Apply new knowledge and skills appropriately to health-services administration settings.

Employ analytical and critical thinking skills to increase efficiency and efficacy in the workplace, as well as in the field.
