Curriculum

In order to develop well-rounded graduates primed for success in today’s dynamic professional environment, Drexel’s Bachelor of Architecture program is broad in scope, including courses in the physical and social sciences, humanities, as well as professional courses in the field of architecture.

The curriculum is structured into three areas of study:

  • Studio/thesis sequence (87 credits)
  • Required and elective architectural coursework (65 credits)
  • Required university coursework (69 credits)

Along with Goodwin’s part-time evening program, the Antoinette Westphal College of Media Arts and Design also offers students a “2 + 4 option,” in which students complete two years of full-time study, then continue studies on a part-time basis for four additional years while employed. More information on this option can be obtained here.
