"Éxito Latino/Latino Success: Dream it. Live it with Drexel University!” – October 13"

This cross-campus and bicoastal collaborative event celebrates Latino Heritage Month by showcasing how Drexel University embraces and supports the Communidad Latina through dynamic services and programming designed to assist potential Latino students through the application process through lifetime membership as Drexel alumni.

Keynote speakers include:

Dr. Jesse Ortiz (Researcher & Speaker on Latino Affairs, Professor, Woodland Community College)

Larry Garcia (Hispanic Chamber of Commerce-Sacramento, Calif., board of directors, and chair of scholarship committee)

·
Joe Garcia (leader of National Congress of Puerto Rican Rights)

Four offices across Drexel University will discuss services and programming designed to increase Latino enrollment in post-secondary education and employment in high need career fields (Admissions, Steinbright Career Development Center, Office of Campus Activities, and Office of Alumni Relations). The session will end with a Q&A period. Attendees will be invited to stay and talk with the speakers, faculty, administration, alumni, and other guests.
