Sport Management Students to Appear on CSN’s “Meet the Sixers,” October 23-November 14
, October 22, 2009 —
Goodwin College’s Sport Management students will be featured on Comcast SportsNets’ “Meet the Sixers” show, premiering this weekend.
The students, along with assistant teaching professor Brett Burchette, attended the annual Philadelphia 76ers’ season preview event at the Wachovia Center on Tuesday. They participated as audience members during the filming and met the 2009-2010 team in person following the event. Students spoke to the players and received autographs, then stayed to see the team fall just short of the Wizards in an 89-90 preseason loss.
