Brian C. Johnston, M.S.I.S., is currently a senior network engineer for network services at ARAMARK Corporation’s headquarters in Philadelphia. His primary role is the support of LAN and WAN software, hardware, and management platforms for Cisco routers, switches, wireless LANs, PIX/ASA firewalls, Nokia firewalls and VPN, Juniper SSL VPN, and load balancers. He also performs preventive and emergency maintenance of all network platforms as needed, maintaining backups and providing disaster recovery solutions for all network appliances to help ensure minimal downtime in the event of a disaster.
During his nine-year tenure at ARAMARK, Brian has held positions within the network services, information security, Windows services, and business services information technology departments. In his previous roles, he has been responsible for providing security risk assessments for the entire network infrastructure, assessing and designing internal controls within change management policies and procedures, and the implementation and verification of Sarbanes-Oxley and HIPAA compliance. |
