Chris Dafis, Ph.D., has been an employee of NAVSEA-Philadelphia for 15 years, initially working in the Data Systems Engineering Section (9522) and specializing in the development of large-scale data acquisition, instrumentation, and self-calibration solutions. He is now a member of the Advanced Machinery Technology Branch (986), working in the power electronics, power system control, and power management areas.
Dr. Dafis received his B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and M.S. in Mathematics from Drexel University. His research interests are in the areas of power systems control, observability, stability and power system management. |
