Research and Demonstration (RaD) Lab

The Research and Demonstration (RaD) Lab serves as the multimedia center for Drexel University’s Goodwin College.  Its purpose is to promote and enhance technology in education and empower those who use it.  

The lab is outfitted with state-of-the-art Apple desktop computers equipped with the latest multimedia authoring software including Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro, Soundtrack Pro, iTunes, iDVD, iMovie, iWeb, GarageBand, and Second Life.

These digital design tools allow the College to create powerful educational videos, websites, podcasts, DVDs, virtual worlds, and much more.  Additional capabilities include a projection system, Smartboard presentation technology, and video conferencing, as well as Windows and Apple laptops for group training.  

The RaD Lab also hosts multimedia production workshops to enable student and faculty development in emerging learning technologies.
