INTECH has been recognized locally as one of the "Top 10 General Contractors" by the Philadelphia Business Journal and nationally by the Engineering News Record as one of the "Top 400 Contractors." INTECH has also twice been included on the Inc. magazine "500 Fastest Growing Companies" list as well as on the Inc. "Inner City 100" list, recognizing America 's inner cities' fastest growing companies.
Mr. Sabatino has been recognized as "Entrepreneur of the Year" by both Ernst & Young and the Philadelphia Enterpriser, included on the "40 Under 40" list in the Philadelphia Business Journal and has been twice named "Contractor of the Year" by the American Subcontractors Association of Delaware Valley.
Mr. Sabatino has also been active in the community as a trustee of the School District of Philadelphia's John S. Sabatino Art Award Scholarship and on the boards of directors of the CONGRESO de Latinos Unidos, Inc.; Philadelphia Lacrosse Association; William Penn Charter Athletic Honor Society; Nazareth Academy; Phi Delta Theta, Gettsburg Chapter and GBCA Executive Board and Labor Committee.
Additionally, he has served his alma mater as a member of the Goodwin College Advisory Board. He received the Drexel University Alumni Circle of Distinction Award in 2001, the Specialty Award in 2002, and the Key D Award in 2004.
In 2005, Mr. Sabatino created the John S. Sabatino Endowed Scholarship Fund for Architectural Students making scholarship money available to Drexel's third and fourth year architectural students. |
