Welcome to the New Goodwin College of Professional Studies!

Employing a variety of instructional delivery modes including full-time day, part-time evening, accelerated weekend classes, off-campus, and customized corporate courses, Goodwin’s programs reflect the strength of Drexel University and are cognizant of the diversity of students’ backgrounds and career goals.

You may have noticed that building and expansion is prevalent on every part of the Drexel campus. Goodwin College is very proud to be an important part of the University’s growth. The new Goodwin College, which combines both the School of Technology and Professional Studies and the School of Education will be able to build on the strengths of both entities to provide adult learners, as well as recent high school graduates, with the abundant offerings made available by the partnership.

Some of our new program offerings include an accelerated degree completion program, B.S. in Property Management; a new Saturday Scholars® degree-completion option in Teacher Education; the addition of Culinary Science to our Culinary Arts and Hospitality programs; and exciting undergraduate programs in Creativity and Online Education. New certificate programs are currently being developed in Residential Property Management, Commercial Property Management, Affordable Housing, Housing for an Aging Population, and Gaming and Casino Management.

We are also proud to be part of the new Drexel University Center for Graduate Studies in Sacramento with our M.S. in Higher Education that began in January 2009 and our M.S. in Human Resource Development and M.S. in Science of Instruction that will start enrolling students in September 2009.

We strive to serve as a portal to the University in order to provide leading-edge learning to you, and all those students who will come after you. Although our College is certainly changing, our commitment to you continues to grow stronger. Our mission is to provide the highest quality educational experience; an education that is practical and affordable; and an education that enriches your life both personally and professionally.
