Panelists represent Drexel’s Office of International Programs, Office of Research and Steinbright Career Development Center; Coulter-Drexel Translational Research Partnership; and Exponent, a corporate cooperative education partner.

11 a.m. Drexel Ventures
Panelists from Drexel’s Office of Corporate Relations and Economic Development and Office of Technology Commercialization discuss support for R&D and start-ups through business development and licensing services; proof-of-concept, incubator and accelerator programs; and innovation funding. 

1 p.m. Philadelphia’s Health Innovation Ecosystem and Commercialization Resources
Panelists from the legal, business, economic development, entrepreneurship, angel, venture and private equity communities, state and federal government and private industry discuss intellectual property, regulatory, reimbursement assessment resources, regional proof-of-concept and innovation partnerships and start-up incubation and acceleration programs.

3 p.m. Global Innovation Partnerships
Representatives from Coulter Translational Research Partnership universities and guests from China, Israel and Turkey share their experiences in international project-based collaborations and contribute to an open discussion to develop an action agenda.

Mara Neal, Director of Research Awards at the Coulter Foundation, reflects on the life and work of Wallace Coulter.

This afternoon of networking features poster presentations on life-saving solutions.
