I. Policy

Effective immediately, the only place where any legal papers can be served is the Office of the General Counsel (OGC), 3020 Market Street, Suite 102, Philadelphia, PA 19104. This policy applies to subpoenas, complaints, writs, court notices, and every other kind of legal process or legal document (collectively “legal papers”).

If any person is trying to serve legal papers on the University or any of its subsidiaries or affiliates (collectively, “University”) at a location other than the OGC, or on any faculty or professional staff members employed by the University, you must refuse to accept it and must refer the process server to the OGC. If any legal papers are received any other way (e.g., by mail or fax), you must deliver them immediately to the OGC at the address listed above.
