All employed physicians, advanced practice providers, allied healthcare professionals and students in Drexel University’s healthcare programs are insured for professional liability under the Drexel University Medical Professional Liability Self-Insurance Trust.

The Office of Risk Management handles:

• professional liability claim history requests for current and former employees and students
• applications for professional liability insurance for new employees
• training to physicians and advanced practice providers in patient safety

Any currently employed physician, advanced practice provider, or allied healthcare professional who is in need of a certificate evidencing their professional liability coverage should contact their department administrator to obtain this.
