3. Review Your Award Letter

Your Drexel award letter states the types and amounts of Drexel University and federal funds you may receive.

• New students will begin to receive their award letters in late February.
• Continuing students will receive their award letters in July.

What to Do

Review your award letter when you receive it in the mail. Students who have access to DrexelOne can also view awards online.

Advise the Student Resource Center/Financial Aid Office immediately if you receive a financial aid award from any other source. A change in your resources may affect your financial aid package.

Tips

• Aid is awarded on a rolling basis as Drexel receives completed FAFSAs from the Department of Education. Therefore, the sooner you file your FAFSA the sooner you will receive your financial aid award letter.
• Be sure to keep your financial aid award letter (and any revised award letters) for your own records. You should also keep a copy of all documents that you submit to the Drexel Financial Aid Office.
